Phyllis Emery, trumpet
Phyllis is a music teacher in the Elizabethtown Area School District where her main responsibility is teaching elementary winds and percussion. Prior to teaching in Elizabethtown, she has taught in the Southern York County School District (PA) and the Ligonier School District (PA). Phyllis received a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Elizabethtown College and a Master of Music degree in Music Education from The Pennsylvania State University. She performs regularly and has been a featured trumpet soloist with several jazz and symphonic groups in south central Pennsylvania. Phyllis resides in Mount Joy with her husband Rob.
